Melissa Wilcox
(Ms. Missy)

I began teaching at Memorial Preschool in August 2008 and have taught both the two year old class and the three year old class. In June 2019 I began co-directing the preschool. I hold a degree in nursing from Ivy Tech. My husband, Bruce, and I were married in 1991 and have three children, Tyler, Katie, and Bryce. My family and I are members of Memorial United Methodist Church. I enjoy gardening and traveling with my family.
Christy Cresgy

I am currently teaching the 4/5 day Pre-K class. I truly love teaching and find great joy working with preschool children and seeing the excitement in their eyes as they learn and play. I started teaching at Memorial Preschool in 1997. My husband, Joe, and I married in 1987 and have two grown children, a daughter, Jordan and a son, Chase. I hold a degree in both Elementary Education and Special Education. We are active members of Memorial United Methodist Church where I am currently serving as Director of Christian Education

Emily Starbuck

I graduated in May 2019 with a Master's from ISU in Terre Haute. I studied environmental science, and have been teaching for six years, and love working with children. I am currently working as a teaching assistant in the two year old classroom.
Gloria Morris
(Ms. Morris)

I began teaching at Memorial Preschool in 2004. I currently teach the Pre-K extended class. I have two children, Mitchell and Emily. I am a very proud Mamaw of three granddaughters. I recently went back to college and am pursuing an education degree in Preschool—3rd Grade with a minor in mild disabilities through St. Mary of the Woods online program. I also work as a caregiver when I am not teaching.

I have been a teaching assistant at Memorial Preschool since 2003 and am currently in the 5 morning Pre-K extended class. My husband, Mark, and I have three grown children and two grandchildren. I enjoy arts and crafts, reading, music, and spending time with my family.
Christine Starbuck (Ms. Chris)

I am very pleased to be teaching the two year old class. I am married with grown children and have lived in Terre Haute for many years. I received my Master’s Degree from ISU and have taught for many years. I especially love working with very young children. I look forward to productive and fun days in the classroom. To quote Charles Dickens: “I love these little people and it is not a slight thing when they, who are so fresh from God, love us.”
Katie Wilcox

I began working at Memorial Preschool in August 2015. I am currently the teaching assistant in the three year old extended classroom. I graduated from Ivy Tech in May 2019 with my certification in Early Childhood Education. I attend Memorial Church and am the Junior Church teacher. In my spare time, I enjoy art and taking care of my dogs and cats.
Andrea Lindeman

I first arrived in Terre Haute as an Indiana State University student. I graduated with a degree in Criminology, and worked as a Youth Specialist at Gibault, Inc before becoming a restaurant manager. I took time off to stay home with my children, working as a recess aid before my youngest child was born. I am currently working as a teaching assistant in the 3 year old class. My husband, Paul, and I have been married since 2003 and have two children.
Amanda Harkness

I am excited to begin my first year working with the children and staff at Memorial to provide support wherever needed. I have one son, Eli, who had an incredible experience attending Memorial when he was a preschooler. I am a stay-at-home mom and wife. I have a passion for crafting, party-planning, serving at my church, and spending time with my wonderful family.
Natasha Norton

I've had four previous years of experience being a teaching assistant at Memorial Preschool before taking a year off to help run the family business. I have returned this year excited to assist in the four day Pre-K classroom. My husband Sam and I have been married for thirteen years and have three children. I love to read, do crafts and listen to music.
Kristy Fisher

I am excited to be joining the staff at Memorial this year as the Three’s Extended Day Preschool Teacher. I graduated in 2004 from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Mathematics. I worked for six years as a public school teacher and then moved into the role of stay at home mom. My husband, Dave, and I have four children: McKinley, Keegan, Bowen, and Neala. Our children have all attended Memorial Preschool and our family attends Maryland Community Church.
